Angel Fire does Christmas almost as well as Santa himself. Dozens of local businesses donate in several different chartiy events to support what's called the Moreno Valley Toy Run, a wonderful charity that has been successful for it's 22nd year in a row. With the help from buisnesses and individuals in and around the Angel Fire area, the Toy Run was able to bring Christmas to 80 families this year! Thanks to everyone for your support!

But I know what you're thinking: with Christmas over it's easy to be worried that all the celebrations are over as well, but if you're in Angel Fire, you're in luck! 

Snow is continuing to fall in the valley and on the Sangre de Cristo mountains, making outside activiy even more enjoyable for those of you who live outdoors. And for those of you who prefer to stay warm, all the restaurants are open for regular business, and most have something special planned for the new year. 

Speaking of the new year, let's hear  what Angel Fire has planned to kick off 2013:

Zeb's, a local restaurant and bar, is having a band on New Years Eve for you to welcome the New Year with  boogie and dance. 

The annual New Year's Eve tourchlight parade and fireworkds will blast off at the base of the mountin at the Resort ski area. 

Tuesday the 1st head on out to Eagle Nest State Park for the Polar Bear Plunge if you're new year's resolution is to be more adventureous this year. 

Finish the day off skiing, snowboarding, sledding, cross- country skiing, or snowshoeing for all of these events will definitely be open to welcome you to 2013.
