Angel Fire on New Year's is a very special place to be; the folks around here sure do know how to welcome in a new year! So if you're looking for something outside your cabin to do tonight, here are a few ideas!

A local restaurant and bar Zeb's is having a boogie band tonight for those of you who like to dance the New Year into their lives.

Be sure and bundle up and head out to the base of the ski mountain at 6pm tonight for fireworks (let's hope the storm cooperates!) and the annual torchlight parade! If you haven't seen one of our torchlight parades, this is something you do not want to miss. After the sun heads down, some special skiers head up the mountain with glowing lanterns they carry down as they swop down the runs in the dark.

After the torchlight parade, the Village Haus (just a few steps from the base of the mountain) will host a hopping New Year's Eve party with a live DJ, $4 drafts and $6 wells. 21 & over are allowed in from 7- 1am.

For those of you who enjoy the quite life, sitting by the fire watching the snow pile up once again sounds like a peaceful way to end 2012.
